Introduction to the Fine Art of Abstract collage

Collage is one of the most popular art forms and has been used the since the 1100’s in Japan and more recently by Pablo Picasso. Currently the cut and paste phenomenon is found all over the world.

Join instructors Kathi Vargo and Sharon Matheson in learning new and interesting ways to manipulate paper into a fine art piece. In this class we will create a unique 9×12 artwork using a project kit. There will be the option of using additional supplies to augment your work. Each kit is different and will be of your choice.

You may wish to bring some images that speak to you on a personal level.

Please bring your own scissors and get ready to have some fun!

We will have water and a light snack available. The Healthy Bar right next door has yummy choices for lunch or you may want to bring a sack lunch,
